TRAX, Britain’s biggest performance car show is back at Silverstone Circuit for 2019! This ultimate performance car event will feature live track action on the Silverstone Circuit, and gives you the opportunity to unleash your inner racing driver with public track time. Along with all-day action on the track and some show-stopping static displays, there will be a massive Retail Village packed with car-related parts, accessories, clothing and much more, with some exclusive show discounts. This show is not to be missed!

Disabled Visitors

As part of our commitment to make the show accessible to all we will provide those disabled ticket holders that require full time assistance with 1 free show ticket for a partner, accompanying friend or personal assistant (PA). Please note that this does not include camping, all people camping need to buy a camping pass. You will need to provide a copy of your most recent Personal Independence Payment form (PIP) showing your current entitlement and your ‘blue badge’ if car parking is required. On arrival at the show please liaise with the staff on the gates when presenting your entry ticket.

Parking is free at the show; the marshals will direct you on your arrival.

What time does the show open?

The event is open to the public from 10:00am and will close at 5:30pm.

Will there be a cash point on site?

 Yes there will be a cash point on site which marshals will direct you to.

Are credit cards accepted on the gate?

Yes, credit cards can be used on the gate.

Can I bring my pet?

No animals of any kind are allowed onto the site.

Is there a bar on site?

Yes, there is a  bar on site which will be open throughout the day selling food and alcohol.

Are there food units on site?

There are many food units and a permanent on site cafeteria open throughout the day.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

Yes you can bring food and drink into the venue. Glass bottles are not permitted and will be confiscated at the main gate.

Will there be someone taking photos of the cars for me to purchase on the day?

Yes there will be both entry photographer and track photographer - more information will be found in our show guide.

Are BBQ’s allowed on site?

No BBQ's are not permitted.

Are there any concessions for people with disabilities?

Are motorcycles allowed to display at the show?  No, motorcycles are not allowed to display at this event.

How can I buy a ticket?

Tickets are purchased online. Tickets can also be purchased on the gate. Advanced admission closes midnight (GMT) Saturday before the event. 

I have booked my tickets, can I add children onto my order? Yes. All tickets are available to purchase on the gate. If you are a full paying adult please show your tickets to the marshals on the gate. Two children under 14 years old qualify as FREE.

Can I get a refund for my tickets once I've bought them?

Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable – click here to view our full terms and conditions. If you have taken out refund protection please visit http://www.bookingprotect.com/refund/ where you will be taken through the refund process.

Will I be able to buy a ticket on the gate?

Yes you can buy tickets on the gate from 10:00.

My name is not on the ticket, can I still attend the event?

Yes, all tickets are unique, your tickets will display the name of who purchased the tickets. If your tickets were brought by someone else please bring a copy of the conformation email with you.

Can you purchase tickets over the phone? All tickets are purchased online through our ticketing system. If you have any problems please give us a call on 01959 541444 or email shows@kelsey.co.uk.

Do I have to print the tickets?

The tickets are valid printed off OR on your smart phone, as long as the barcode is clear.

What do I do if I want to buy a ticket for a gift?

You will be asked during the transaction who you are buying the ticket for, you must type in the recipient’s name here. They should bring the confirmation email, ticket and relevant ID to confirm they're the named recipient given during the order.

Do I need to bring ID with me to gain entry?

Yes. You will need to bring with you the card that you purchased the tickets with and a photo ID card (such as your driving licence) along with your ticket clearly printed and viewable on your mobile phone to gain entry. If you are unable to provide sufficient ID of your ticket has already been scanned, you will be asked to pay the full entry price on the gate.

What if I haven’t received my ticket and I am on my way to the show? You can get your tickets from the collection point at the show. The gate ticket collection point is in the Visitors Centre which you can get to by going through the B entrance on the day. It is located on your left once you enter the car park.

Do I have to purchase a ticket for my child?

Entry is FREE for two children aged 14 and under when accompanied by a paying adult. Additional children are £5 each. Under 5's are FREE. You are responsible for any children who attend the event with you and you must ensure that they comply with these terms and conditions.

What if I haven’t received my tickets?

If you haven’t received your tickets and you’re leaving for the event, Don’t panic! Our ticket collection point is inside the Visitors Centre where a member of staff will be there to help. Please bring with you your confirmation email and we will be able to issue you with the correct tickets at the event.

When do I collect my merchandise You will collect your merchandise from a clearly marked marquee at the show within the event.

Is there car parking available?

Yes, there is a public car park available free of charge.

Is there disabled parking?

Yes, there is a disabled parking area, please ask on the gate for a pass and the marshalls will direct you.

Is there any way that I can park my car in the show rather than in the public car park?

You can display your car as a part of a club display or by entering the Show & Shine competition. If you are not part of a club or show and shine please purchase an individual display ticket.

Can I take passengers out on the track with me?

Yes – subject to certain restrictions. Passenger tickets can be purchased when you are booking track time at a cost of £10. Only one front seat passenger is permitted per car and they must sign an indemnity form prior to the session. Minimum age for passengers wanting to go out on track is 18 years.  

Is helmet hire available on the day or do I need to bring my own?

We advise you to bring your own British Standard-approved helmet where possible, although Silverstone has a limited number available for hire. In order to do this you will need to leave your credit card with us as a deposit. Helmet hire is £10 per person. Helmets are mandatory for drivers and passengers and helmet straps must be securely done up.

Do I need a driving licence to take my car on the track?

Yes, you will be required to show your full UK or other EU state driving licence. Both parts in the case of photocard licences. You will also need a valid entry ticket for the show and to bring the paper section which accompanies your driving licence. This can be downloaded from the DVLA website (click here and follow the onscreen instructions https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence ) and brought with you.

My licence is away at the DVLA/Police, can I bring a photocopy?

No, a full original driving licence needs to be seen when signing-on

Is it possible to purchase track time on the day?

Demand is high for TRAX track time and it usually sells out in advance, as such we strongly advise that if you want to get out on track you book as soon as possible.

Are there facilities on the campsite?   

There is an onsite catering unit open until late where you can purchase a range of street food e.g. burgers, noodles, fish & chips, breakfast This unit also sells soft drinks and has a licenced bar.

Is food/drink available?

We advise you to bring your own British Standard-approved helmet where possible, although Silverstone has a limited number available for hire. In order to do this you will need to leave your credit card with us, as a deposit. Helmet Hire is £10 per person. Helmets are mandatory for drivers and passengers and helmet straps must be securely done up.

Can we BBQ?

Yes, BBQ’s must be raised off of the ground and disposed of by dousing in water before placing in any bin/skip.

Can we bring sound systems? 

Modest sound systems, yes but please be mindful that Whittlebury is a small rural village and noise travels.  No noise after midnight please.

Can we bring our own drinks?  

A bar is available onsite for anyone camping at Whittlebury Park but you canalso bring your own drinks if you wish to however you may not take your own drinks into the bar.

Are there electric plots available?

Yes, we have a limited number of electric plots available, these are charged at £15 per plot payable on the day. 

It is advisable to pre book to avoid disappointment, to reserve an electric plot please call 01327 850 447.

Will our stuff be safe?  

The campsite has security, but we would advise that you keep any valuables with you or leave them at home.  Whittlebury Park accepts no liability for loss or damage to personal property.

Can I park next to my tent?

Yes, vehicles are parked with your tents so we ask you to restrict movement as much as possible so not to cause a disturbance to other campers nearby.

Can we camp close to our friends?

If you have booked as part of a large club you will have an allocated area, if you book as an individual you will not be in the same area as the clubs but you can hold a space next to you for friends if you wish to.

How close am I to the circuit?  

Whittlebury Park Campsite backs on to Silverstone Circuit and has a direct Walkway into the copse corner which takes around 15 minutes on foot.  For those exhibiting or driving in to the circuit you will be using the East gate which is approximately 200 yards from the top of our drive.

Can I camp before Saturday?   

Yes, you can camp before your ticket is valid but this will incur an additional fee payable on the day to the campsite marshal. 

When do I have to leave the site?

Your camping ticket allows you to stay on the site until Monday lunchtime post event.

Will there be Entertainment?   

Entertainment is dependent on the number of bookings/people attending.
