The Fast Car Festival 2017 Stand

Did you miss our headline sports car/supercar show this year at Donington? Well we’ve put together a stand showcasing what the show is all about. Already confirmed for TRAX is McLaren’s 650S and its predecessor, the 12C. The 650S built upon the foundations of the 12C by continuing with the carbon fibre MonoCell frame, however, power was upped from 600ps (592bhp) to 650PS (641bhp). The 650S became the first model in McLaren’s Super Series aimed at disrupting the pecking order of the supercar market that had previously been dominated by the likes of Ferrari.

In addition to the McLarens, we have some rally icons joining us on display, these include the Lancia Delta Integrale and twin-cam Mk1 Ford Escort. The Integrale earned Lancia five WRC manufacturer titles between 1988 and 1992, beating the likes of the Ford Sierra Cosworth and the Audi 90 Quattro. The Mk1 Escort is arguably the most successful rally car of all time, being almost unbeatable during the late ‘60s and early ‘70s. Its most fabled victory came in the 1970 London to Mexico rally, which caused Ford to build the famous Mk1 Mexico.

There’s plenty more to see on the day that we haven’t mentioned above so make sure you visit The Fast Car Festival stand at TRAX! This will be just a taste of the most exciting new event on the calendar so make sure you mark July 1st-2nd 2017 in your diary for The Fast Car Festival 2017.
